Our Company

W. Corpening Investments was founded in 1997 by William N. Corpening of Granite Falls, NC.

The graduate of UNC at Chapel Hill recognized and responded to the needs of his community. He was instrumental in the 1982 construction of Grogan's Daycare, which is still being operated by the original manager, and he also made land available for the construction of Dudley Shoals Elementary School. A tree farm is managed on some of the Corpening property.


William N. is credited with developing area land with apartments, houses, restaurants, and office buildings. He remained active in the business until his death early in 2004.

His son John joined the business to develop and manage the company’s properties.

We own and manage three modern, attractive residential locations ranging from duplexes to townhouses. Commercial property is also available if you need space for your business.

All of our properties are located in Granite Falls, NC. Some units are available for rent through arrangements with the Public Housing Administration.
